Binibining Pilipinas newest candidate, Miss Gail Ventic joined the list of official candidates as a replacement to candidate No. 1, Janelle Olafson who was disqualified by the organizers of Bb. Pilipinas due to her her sexy promotional campaign for a breast cancer awareness campaign in New York City.
The native of Angeles City, Pampanga, Gail Ventic revealed during an interview with Philippine Star that she had mixed emotions upon knowing that she was re-called by the organizers of Binibining Pilipinas as a replacement to Janella Olafson.
Gail Ventic is one of the talent of Jonas Gaffud, the one who also nurtured another disqualified candidate Kim Ross Delos Santos. She is a former candidate during the Bb. Mimosa 2012
During a short interview with PhilStar, the Bb. Pilipinas 2016 candidate No. 1 revealed that she felt the pressure with Pia Wurtzbach’s recent win in the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant, the Miss Universe.
Gail Ventic was quoted as saying “As in super extra training po kaming lahat,” she revealed. “Siyempre si Pia Wurtzbach sinet [set] niya talaga ‘yong standards sobrang taas. So kailangan talaga as next binibinis that will compete po in an international pageant, we have to step it up higher.”
