Star Cinema’s official Instagram account announced the huge success of the movie “Always Be My Maybe,” by posting the announcement on Wednesday announcing the amount earned by the movie that is now running in theaters nationwide for its third week.
Critically acclaimed director Dan Villegas, the man behind the success of “English Only, Please,” and “Walang Forever,” was also the same person who was instrumental in the success of the ABS-CBN movie.
The movie “Always Be My Maybe” is now on its third week but still showing in over 90 cinemas in different parts of the Philippines.
The movie tells about the story of Jake (Gerald Anderson) and Tintin (Arci Munoz). Jake is a wealthy playboy who was rejected by his fiancee, while Tintin is a middle-class make-up artist who’s into a no-commitment relationship, their paths crossed and what follows next is a romantic comedy love story.
