Veteran drama actress Aiko Melendez revealed during an interview with the media that she had no bad experience working with the controversial Cristine Reyes who was accused by Vivian Velez of humiliating her and was rude to the veteran star.
Aiko Melendez and Cristine Reyes have worked together in the afternoon series “Reputasyon” in the year 2011. During that particular time, Aiko’s break up with former boyfriend Patrick Meneses was still fresh and Meneses was linked to Cristine’s sister, Ara Mina.

Cristine Reyes is recently involved in an incident with veteran actress Vivian Velez whom the actress worked with on “Tubig at Langis” teleserye. Vivian Velez claimed that she was humiliated by Cristine Reyes and the younger actress was rude at her which resulted to quitting from her latest TV series.
According to Aiko Melendez one of the reason why she worked seamlessly and having no trouble with Cristine Reyes because she cleared her issue with Cristine before they started working with each other despite the involvement Cristine’s brother to her ex-boyfriend.
“To begin with, bago kami sinalang I had to sit down with her and talk to her na, ‘ihiwalay natin ang trabaho sa kung anuman ang mayro’n kami ng sister mo.’ So maybe that’s one thing she appreciated with me because I’ve been very honest, I’ve laid my cards,” she said.
Recalling their work relationship before, the actress described Cristine as a “transparent” person.
