Mayor Rodrigo Duterte will be the first presidential candidate from the Philipines to be interviewed by the world-renowned Al Jazeera News Network, one of the most trusted news agency in the Muslim world. According to some sources close to Mayor Duterte the interview will be aired in the last week of March.

Before the one-on-one exclusive interview with Mayor Duterte, the mayor made headlines on Al Jazeera last November when he declared his intentions to run for President.
In the latest interview with Mayor Duterte by Al Jazeera, the mayor stated that he is making a sacrifice for the Philippines because he loves the Filipinos.
Mayor Duterte also noted that he will stop the country’s problem within 3-6 months once elected as president and he will show the results. Although Mayor Duterte promised to fulfill his dreams for the country, he noted that everyone must cooperate with his plans for the country.
Aside from the Al Jazeera reports on Mayor Duterte, the Qatar-based news media organization, Al Jazeera will also produce a documentary about Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, considered as the most popular candidate for OFW’s.
