Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: Yes I’m a Dictator Now What?

The tough-talking mayor of Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte admitted that he is indeed a dictator but according to the mayor if anyone don’t like him they should not vote for him in the upcoming presidential elections.

The Mayor was quoted as saying “I am a dictator? Yes it is true. If you don’t like it then don’t vote for me,” at the same time he also promise to create a crime-free society once elected as president of the Republic of the Philippines.

Mayor Duterte said he would not hesitate to use the combined force of the military and the police to fight illegal drugs and criminality. According to the mayor of Davao City, he would implement a self-imposed restriction.

“If you put me there (presidency), I will finish (all the criminals) off,” Duterte said, again promising to fix what was wrong in the country in three to six months.

During the first presidential debate held in Cagayan de Oro City, Mayor Duterte announced his 3-6 month timeline, saying it was a “restriction” he was imposing on himself to ensure that people will immediately feel the effects of his campaign against crime.

Although Mayor Duterte promised to fulfill his plans for the Philippines, he said he would would not resort to martial law like Marcos to fight criminality.
