Filipino fans and followers of the famous Walt Disney anticipates the results of the recent meeting between Philippine President, Benigno S. Aquino III and some Walt Disney international executives as they are waiting for the possible venture of the world renowned business venture in the country.
There are some speculations among netizens that the meeting between Pres. Aquino and Disney executives will lead to a possible Disneyland Philippines venture which will be put up by the company, a few years from now.
Pres. Aquino met with executives of Walt Disney on Wednesday morning (Manila time) during his United States visit as a participant in the US-ASEAN Summit in Sunnylands, California.
The US-ASEAN Summit is said to be an informal summit organized by the United States that is set to discuss the ASEAN Economic Community, transnational challenges, regional maritime issues as well as any topic that any participant may wish to raise.
Aside from Walt Disney, Pres. Aquino also discussed possible investment opportunities with some of the world’s most prominent such as with executives of Western Digital Corp. and Enterprise Growth Solutions AECOM.
The meeting with Andy Bird, Walt Disney chairman, and Jim Flippatos, vice president for global public policy of Walt Disney was held at the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City.
