Brian Poe Llamanzares, the son of Presidential candidate Sen. Grace Poe finally apologized to the Filipinos after his posting of expensive shoes online drew flak from netizens. The controversial post of Brian Poe Llamanzares was already deleted on his Instagram account but some netizens managed to capture the viral photo.

Based upon the Instagram post of Sen. Grace Poe’s son, the young celebrity was showing his new pair of shoes which is a limited edition of Nike Mag10 shoes which according to some experts, the original would cause an estimated P800,000-900,000 based upon the prevailing exchange rates.
Brian Poe Llamanzares already apologized and explained to the media that he bought the pair online for P10,000 pesos, out of his own savings. The mother of the Brian, Sen. Grace Poe also came to the defense of her son, saying that Brian did not steal to buy the sneakers.
Based upon the various comments of some netizens they believe that posting the shoes was done in bad taste, while others say he is entitled to his purchase, if it came from his own money.
