Presidential candidate added another promise to his campaign which was considered by some of his detractors as a “campaign full of promise,” when he delivered his messsage in Iriga City, a third-class city in the province of Camrines Sur in the Bicol Region.
The former DILG Secretary promise that he will “drive” the Philippines to become a “First World” country if he would be chosen to succeed President Benigno Aquino III in the highly anticipated national elections this coming May 2016.
The official candidate of the Liberal Party, Mar Roxas also warned the residents of the Bicol Region that if they vote for the wrong President, the corrupt leader, the country will surely not “reach its destination.”
According to Mar Roxas, his future government will be likened with driving a car, hitting corrupt presidents as those preventing the country from moving toward development.
Roxas said it was only in 2010, the car was able to accelerate up to the fourth gear—when the Filipinos elected President Aquino.
“Ano nangyari mula 2010? Malayo na ang narating natin,” he said.
