Ang Probinsyano Sets All-Time Highest TV Ratings at 45.9% Audience Share

The Philippines top-rating and Twitter-trending primetime teleserye “Ang Probinsyano” has set another all-time highest TV ratings as the series recorded a 45.9 percent rating in terms of nationwide audience share for its Monday episode.

The record-breaking achievement of Coco Martin’s Ang Probinsyano is a few notches higher than its January 28 record of 43.7 percent.

In an interview with entertainment site Push, lead star Coco Martin said he is thankful that his show is consistently receiving good feedback from its viewers. He was quoted as saying:

“Nakakatuwa kasi sabi ko nga mag dere-derecho na mabuhay ulit ang action film para marami tayong matulungan, lalong lalo na ‘yung mga stunt man, mga action director, di ba?” he said.

Based upon the latest episode of the show, guests, who are mostly foreigners, excitedly waited for the young women presented by the human-trafficking syndicate.

Cardo (Martin), who was disguised as Paloma, confidently went on stage and waved to the guests. Paloma danced, encouraging guests to bid higher prices. After the auction closed, Paloma blew his cover and revealed his real identity as a police officer, even Paloma was paid by half a million pesos.
