San Miguel Beer Extends Finals Series Defeated Alaska in Game 4 (Highlights Video)

The defending champion San Miguel Beermen extends the All Filipino Finals series against the Alaska Aces as they defeated their rival in Game 4 of the finals executing an amazing ball game down the stretch to secure their first victory with the final score of 110-104.

The Game 4 clash between the Beermen and the Aces ended with an overtime blow-out after the Aces failed to capitalize on their lead at 93-82 with just 3:31 play. The Aces also needed a Cyrus Baguio triple at the buzzer to forge an extension at 98-all in regulation.

Alaska’s Vic Manuel scored the first two baskets in the overtime period but San Miguel’s Chris Ross became the unlikely offensive anchor of San Miguel by providing an impressive 9-0 run.

Despite the victory of the San Miguel Beermen, there is still a long way to go for the defending champion as they will try to bounce back from a 3-1 deficit in the best-of-seven finals series. The Game 4 of the PBA All Filipino Cup finals will be held this coming Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

The Beermen had lost the first three games because of the lack of offensive manpower and due to the absence of reigning PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo.
