The President of the United States of America, President Barrack Obama ranked as the most popular or most like leaders on Facebook with more than 46.414 million likes on his “campaign page.” Philippine President Benigno S. Aquino on the other hand ranked at the No. 10 spot worldwide despite the recent controversy involving the SSS pension increase.
According to the World Leaders on Facebook study by leading communications and public relations firm Burson-Marsteller, Pres. Obama’s Facebook Page which was not manage by the White House or Obama himself tops their list while the official White House account of the US was the eight most liked on Facebook page with 5.44 million.
Pres. Aquino on his part is considered as the 10th most liked leader on Facebook with a total of 4.244 million likes on his official Facebook account.
In the list compiled by the group which operates in more than 100 countries worldwide, Pres. Obama was closely followed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with 31.745 million likes on his personal page, plus 10.109 million on the official page of the Prime Minister of India.
