San Miguel team manager Gee Abanilla noted that Fajardo’s ACL and PCL on his left knee are intact based on the initial findings. He is also confident that the Cebuano big man will be ok for the finals series.

San Miguel Beer head coach Leo Austria also disproved a report that June Mar Fajardo has suffered an ACL tear after falling awkwardly on his left knee following a rebound play.

Although the San Miguel big man can still play in the finals series against Alaska for a rematch, he will likely seat down in the Game 1 of the PBA finals.

Coach Leo Austria also added that June Mar Fajardo’s injury is “nothing serious.” The San Miguel management also noted that the results of the MRI on Fajardo’s knee will be released Monday.
