The Social Weather Station and Businessworld released their official January 2016 Vice Presidential preference survey, the latest survey released this month. According to the results of the SWS Businessworld Survey, in the Vice Presidential race, Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero is now statistically tied with Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Independent Vice Presidential candidate Sen. Chiz Escudero got 28% support in the latest SWS survey results, down from the previous 30% ratings last December. Sen. Bongbong Marcos on his part improved his numbers from 19% last December to 25% in January 2016.
Coming in second or third place is Liberal Party standard bearer, Rep. Leni Robredo with 17% ratings which is 2 percentage points down from his 19% ratings last December.
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s running mate Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano on his part ranked fourth with with 14% and tied with VP Binay’s running mate, Sen. Gringo Honasan who also got 14% while Sen. Antonio Trillanes ranked fifth with 3% ratings.
The survey has sampling error margins of ±3% for national percentages and ±6% each for Metro Manila, Balance of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
