Kapamilya child star Jana Agoncillo bids goodbye to her character “Ningning” during an exclusive interview with “Umagang Kay Ganda” on Friday. The child-friendly teleserye bids goodbye and aired its last episode on Friday morning, before the noontime show “It’s Showtime.”
During the interview, Jana Agoncillo who portrayed the role of Ningning was quoted as saying “Siyempre, mami-miss namin ang cast kasi masaya kami doon. Malungkot kami kasi tapos na po ang ‘Ningning,’ ‘yung teleserye namin, at mami-miss namin ang isa’t isa kasi po napamahal na kami sa cast ng ‘Ningning,'” she said.
Aside from Jana Agoncillo her fellow co star John Steven de Guzman also noted that he learned a lot from his co-actors in the top-rating morning teleserye. John Steven de Guzman played the role of Ningning’s best friend Macmac.
The actor who played the role as the father of Ningning, Ketchup Eusesibo also stated that playing the role of Ningning’s father is one of his biggest breaks since joining the showbiz industry.
Ketchup Eusebio was quoted as saying during the interview “Siguro kung hindi siya ‘yung pinakamaganda eh isa sa pinakamaganda kong experience sa career ko. Hanggang ngayon, kapag nakikita ko ang pangalan sa umpisa ng OBB ay may nakalagay na starring, hanggang ngayon ay kinikilabutan ako. ‘Di ko ini-expect ‘yun na aabot ako sa point na ‘yun,” he said.
The highly anticipated teleserye “Be My Lady” starring Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga will replace Ningning in the morning time slot before “It’s Showtime.”
