Controversial Ethel Booba made headlines once again after she posted a photo of herself made a retaliatory gestures against a Colombian who earlier “torched” an effigy of the reigning Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
In an earlier report a Colombian identified as Noider Almanza Barraza posted a video torching an effigy of the Miss Universe title holder.
Ethel Booba responded by posting a photo of herself torching an effigy of her own. On her Twitter account, Ethel Booba can be seen with a torch on her hand with an effigy, with Wurtzbach’s body but with Noider Almanza Barraza’s face.
According to Ethel Gabison or more popularly known as Etheel Booba, she bowed to avenge Filipino netizens who took offense at the video that went viral earlier posted by a Colombian.
On her Twitter account, Ethel Booba stated: “Kalma lang guys. Ako bahala. Babawi tayo sa sunugan ng effigy. Charot!”
The Colombian who torched the effigy of Pia Wurtzbach already apologized for posting the video and explained that the effigy-burning or the Año Viejo (old year) is a tradition being done in Latin American countries. He also took the video down from his Facebook account.
