Miss Christi Lynn McGarry of the Philippines wins as first runner-up in the Miss Intercontinental beauty pageant held at the Grand Ballroom in the Maritim Congress Hotel in Magdeburg, Germany. Aside from winning the second highest recognition award of the night, she was also named as Queen of Asia and Oceania.
The 5 ft. 11-inches beauty queen made it to the top five of the Miss Intercontinental 2015 competition alongside Brianne Bailey of USA, Katherine Garcia of Venezuela, Tendai Bongani Humda of Zimbabwe and Russia’s Valentina Rasulova.
Miss Valentina Rasulova from Russia was crowned 2015 Miss Intercontinental while Miss USA’s Brianne Bailey was second runner-up; Miss Venezuela’s Katherine Garcia was third runner-up; and Tendai Bongani Humda of Zimbabwe was fourth runner-up.
The Filipina beauty queen from Nabua, Camarines Sur represented the Philippines for the Miss Intercontinental pageant the second time around after she first represented the country last 2010 after winning the Mutya ng Pilipinas, the previous licensee of Miss Intercontinental.
During the 2010 edition of the Miss Intercontinental, Christi Lynn McGarry finished in the top 15 of the 2010 Miss Intercontinental pageant, which was held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
