LRT Released Train Schedules for Christmas Holiday 2015 & New Year’s Day 2016

Metro Manila’s Light Rail Transit (LRT), Metro Rail Transit and the Philippine National Railways announced the complete and official schedules for December 23, 25 and 31, 2015 and January 1, 2016 New Year Holiday operations. The Light Rail Transit (LRT) runs from Baclaran in Parañaque City to Roosevelt Avenue in Quezon City.

LRT Holiday Schedule

According to the statement relerased by LRT and MRT Spokesperson Hernando Cabrera through Twitter, both LRT Lines 1 and 2 will have shorter operating hours during the coming holidays instead of the usual 9:00 PM (Baclaran) and 9:30 (Roosevelt) last train schedule.

The last train of the LRT 1 will leave Baclaran and Roosevelt stations at 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. respectively on December 24, while the last trip would be at 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. respectively on December 31.

For LRT2, the last train on December 24 leaves Santolan at 8:00 p.m. while the Recto train leaves at 8:30 p.m. On December 31, the last trip from Santolan station is 7:00 p.m. and the last train from Recto leaves at 7:30 p.m.

Atty. Cabrera also noted that there will be regular operations on December 25, 2015 (Christmas Day) and January 1, 2015 (New Year’s Day).
