OPM Icon Jim Paredes the alleged person behind the blind item posted by Mocha Uson on her Facebook Page made an official statement regarding the incident that pinpoint him as the alleged OPM icon involved in a controversial interview with the Mocha Girls. Jim Paredes hit back at singer-dancer Mocha Uson for “twisting” stories aimed at discrediting him.
The veteran singer and member of Apo Hiking Society, Jim Paredes released in a blog post the following statement”She made twisted comments about me which I suppose is for the purpose of discrediting me,” Paredes said.
Jim Paredes reacted to the statement released by Mocha Uson lambasting the alleged OPM Icon for airing his anti-Duterte stand. The Pinoy music icon, Jim Paredes added further that “We are all entitled to our own opinion. My beef with Duterte is human rights,” he said in a blogpost.
The APO member Jim Paredes denied the allegations made by the Mocha Girls but he admitted that he indeed made an interview with Mocha Uson during the year 2012.
Mocha Uson and her all-girl singing and dancing group “Mocha Girls” vowed earlier to throw their support to the candidacy of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao City for his presidential bid. They even noted that they were willing to end their career if that would help Mayor Duterte win the presidency.
