The President of the most powerful country in the world, United States President Barack Obama arrived in the Philippines on Tuesday morning, November 17, 2015 on-board the famous Air Force One, the official plane of the US President.

President Obama landed in the Philippines from his official visit in Antalya, Turkey for the G20 Summit, the Air Force One touched down at around 11:20 AM today. This is the second visit of President Obama to the Philippines, which is considered as its strongest ally in the region.
During the arrival of President Obama, Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin, Philippine Ambassador to the US Jose Cuisia Jr., and US Ambassador to the Philippines Philip Goldberg led the welcoming party at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City.
The US President then whisked off to the Sofitel Hotel in Manila via the world-renowned Marine One, the Presidential chopper of the US President.
Pres. Obama is scheduled to speak at the APEC CEO Summit on November 18 and will join the leaders of the other APEC member economies at the welcome reception and dinner hosted by Pres. Aquino.
On Thursday, the US President is scheduled to join the APEC Leaders’ Retreat. Officials of the US Embassy in Manila also revealed that Pres. Obama will also visit the US-made BRP Gregorio de Pilar, the Philippine Navy’s flagship vessel.
