British boxer and one of the world’s most popular fighter Amir Khan now tops the list of Manny Pacquiao’s likely last opponent in the celebrated career of the Pinoy boxing icon. Manny Pacquiao is scheduled to fight for his last bout inside the ring this coming April 9, 2016.
In a news report posted by international news agency, The Telegraph, they noted that negotiations are going smoothly for the bout that’s likely to be staged in the Sin City, Las Vegas.
The name of the Briton fighter, Amir Khan resurfaced after Floyd Mayweather Jr. reiterated that he won’t be coming out of retirement for a rematch with Manny Pacquiao, whom he beat by a controversial decision last May.
Manny Pacquiao still considers Mayweather as the most lucrative option but he also noted that he is willing to take on anybody that his promoter Bob Arum will pit against him. Some of name that came out to fight Pacquiao are Danny Garcia and Terrence Crawford.
Amir Khan, who is now in a holiday in India, confirmed that his camp’s negotiation with Pacquiao’s handler are indeed going on and noted that he left everything to his team the details of his highly anticipated fight with Manny Pacquiao.
