The controversial NAPOLCOM official identified as Ana Marie Paglinawan has been ordered relieved after a video of her altercation with two police officers and Panapan village Kagawad Mike Almanza went viral on social media. According to NAPOLCOM, they sacked the female official who was caught on video berating policemen in Bacoor, Cavite.
NAPOLCOM confirmed that Ana Marie Paglinawan, served as the acting chief of the Napolcom-National Capital Region administrative division.
In the controversial video, Paglinawan was seen hurling invectives at Almanza who was filming her as she berated two cops in Justinville Subdivision on Wednesday morning.
The village officer stated in the viral video posted on Facebook that the alleged Napolcom official came to the rescue of a relative, who Almanza said was reported to the police by Justinville residents for causing public disturbance.
Aside from the relief of Paglinawan, Napolcom vice chairman and executive officer Eduardo Escueta also ordered the creation of a team to probe the incident.
