Suspension Classes for October 20, as Announced by LGU’s, DepEd & CHED

Various Local Government Units across the areas affected by Bagyong Lando announced suspension of classes in various levels due the onslaught of the typhoon despite the fact that the weather bureau already noted that Bagyong Lando has weakened.

PAGASA alread lowered some public storm warning signals in various parts of Luzon, but some areas in Luzon remained flooded, prompting suspension of classes on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.

There are also provinces which were affected by Bagyong Lando declared a state of calamity. The country’s weather bureau last reported that Bagyong Lando was estimated based on all available data at 45 km West Northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. It is packing a maximum sustained winds of 95 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 120 kph.
