Filipinos continued their impressive performance in the United Kingdom as the All-Filipino group 4th Power advance to the next round of the competition with their impressive performance in the “Six Chair Challenge” on “The X Factor UK,” which ended on Sundady (Monday Manila Time).
The Filipino group 4th Power, composed of sisters Mylene, Celina, Irene and Almiera Cercado will move on to the next round of the competition. Although the Pinoy group 4th Power impressed the judges, the other Filipino contestant, singer Neneth Lyons was eliminated.
Neneth Lyons failed to impress judge Simon Cowell with her version of the song popularized by Whitney Houston titled “One Moment in Time.” Although the Filipino singer was able to hit the high notes, Simon Cowell noted that he was disappointed of her performance because he thought it was going to be a big moment for her but it wasn’t.
The performance of Lyons cost her a spot in the final six of the Overs category, as Simon Cowell eventually picking Max Stone, Ebru, Jennifer Phillips, Bupsi, Kerrie-Anne Phillips and Anton Stephans for the next round.
Aside from 4th Power, also performing in the next round of the competition, the Judges’ Houses are Silver Tone, BEKLN, Menn on Point, The First Kings and Alien.
