The controversial Liza Diño was so shocked by the decision of her father, chairman of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) Martin Diño, to run for president in the upcoming 2016 elections under the PDP-Laban party.
Martin Diño filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) under PDP-Laban minutes before the deadline at the main office of the Commission of Elections in Manila.
The announcement of PDP-Laban’s intention to field a presidential candidate raised speculations that there is still a huge chance that Mayor Duterte will run for President as a substitute because Mayor Duterte is also a member of PDP-Laban.
According to some political analysts, the decision of VACC chairman to run for President under PDP-Laban will paved the way for Mayor Duterte to run for President.
Meanwhile, the decision of Liza Diño’s father shocked the wife of singer Aiza Seguerra who posted a photo of her father with the caption, “So my father decided to run for president. #stillinshock”
