The highly anticipated provincial live showing of one of the country’s most popular weekday variety show on national TV, ASAP 20 which was scheduled in Cebu on Sunday, October 18 was cancelled due to the impending bad weather brought about by Bagyong Lando.
Accrding to the official ASAP announcement on Friday, the Kapamilya Network said that the forecast heavy rainfall brought about by tyhoon “Lando” this weekend prompted ABS-CBN to prepare and “be ready to respond to the needs of our Kapamilyas in Northern and Central Luzon,” as stated by ABS-CBN.
The Kapamilya Channel announced “ABS-CBN deemed it best to cancel the “Kapamilya Thank You: ASAP 20, Biyaheng Cebu,” as stated by the country’s largest television network.
Based upon the latest weather bulletin released by PAGASA, Bagyong Lando has maintained its stregth as it moves closer to Isabela-Aurora area.
PAGASA already released Public Storm Signal Warnings in more than 27 areas in Luzon. ABS-CBN also announced that the show will be rescheduled and ticket holders are advised to wait for future announcements.
Although the ASAP 20, Biyaheng Cebu was already cancelled, the other ABS-CBN show show, “It’s Showtime, Biyaheng Cebu” will be pushing through. “It’s Showtime, Biyaheng Cebu” event will be held at Hoops Dome in Lapu Lapu City on Saturday and those attending the evet are reminded to take extra precautions.
