The controversial former mayor of Davao City, Inday Sara Duterte denies the allegations thrown at her that she is the main reason why the tough-talking mayor of Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte decided not to run for President of the Republic of the Philippines.
According to Sara Duterte, she has nothing to do with the decision of his father not to run for the highest position of the country. The statement of Sara Duterte came after a supporter of her father posted a message online, asking her not to be selfish.
A certain netizen named, Yiani Lopez Laguda accused Sara Duterte of being selfish and hindering her father from running for president in the highly anticipated 2016 national elections.
Inday Sara Duterte responded through her official Instagram account about the accusations thrown at her. She posted the following message: “Do you think a wise man and a seasoned politician will decide on the basis of my opinion,” Duterte said in her caption.
The former mayor of Davao City also dared Laguda to stop using Facebook and to top her grades in the Bar exams, before talking.
Last Monday, Mayor Duterte clarified that he will not run for President in the 2016 elections, and instead of seeking the presidency, he would rather retire from politics.
