The newest prime time drama series of the country’s largest TV network, ABS-CBN gave its viewers a glimpse into the life of young police officer titled “Ang Probinsyano,” featuring Coco Martin, considered as one of the country’s most popular prime time TV actor.
During the premiere episode of “Ang Probinsyano,” the action drama series showed how Ador portrayed by Coco Martin, surpassed the physical, mental and emotional challenges at the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA).
The young cop Ador, graduated as the valedictorian of their batch at the PNPA and showed excellence and commitment to his chosen profession. Ador risked his life and answered to the call of duty, this includes fighting a criminal who attempted to bomb a train and saving an old woman from a jeepney that was hanging from the edge of a cliff.
The premiere of “Ang Probinsyano” which dominated the Twitter trending topics in the Philippines reveals the hidden culture inside the PNPA. The TV series also shows the human tears and pain that cadets have to endure in their four years of stay in the academy.
