The newest suitor of Angelica Jane Yap or more popularly known as the “Pastillas Girl,” identified as Richard Parohinog was dubbed by netizens as Mama’s Boy because of his statement during his formal introduction to public. According to Richard Parohinog he declared that he will never choose a girl over his mother.
The 23-year-old suitor of the Pastillas Girl sought the advice of Madam Bertud, portrayed by Vice Ganda on “It’s Showtime,” during the Thursday’s episode of the show. He asked on how to find a girl who would not compete with his mother for his commitment and love.
The mother of Richard Parohinog was also seen supporting the suitor of the Pastillas Girl as she traveled all the way from Cebu to support his son. Richard’s mother who is a single mom supported his son by watching him live on It’s Showtime.
The mother of Richard Parohinog chose to remain single to dedicate her life to her son, but they had to be separated when Richard reached college, prompting her to ask for support from the boy’s father.
When Richard Parohinog was asked by Vice Ganda if he will leave her mother for a girl, he replied with the following statement:
“Hindi naman po puwede ‘yon. Kasi hindi ko naman siya puwedeng mahalin kung hindi ko mamahalin ‘yong nanay ko. Siya ‘yong unang babae sa buhay ko,” Parahinog replied.
