The movie featuring the first on-screen partnership of Coleen Garcia and Derek Ramsay dominated the Philippine box office records as the movie titled “Ex with Benefits” already garnered more than P100 million in box office income just a little over two weeks since it first hit theaters nationwide.
ABS-CBN’s movie outfit Star Cinema confirmed the box office income of the movie as it broke the news on their official Instagram account on Thursday.
The huge success of “Ex With Benefits” marked the fourth consecutive time a Star Cinema film achieved similar box office success following “Just the Way You Are” “The Breakup Playlist” and “The Love Affair.”
Coleen Garcia, the lead actress of the movie “Ex With Benefits” also confirmed the news through her Instagram account and thanked for all those supporters who kept on supporting her first movie with Derek Ramsay.
