Luke Alford the young heartthrob from Batangas wins the Battle Rounds of The Voice of the Philippines Kids Edition Season 2 during the Sunday’s edition of the show. He was able to defeat his fellow Team Lea members Jhoas Sumatra and Noah Anderson, they performed the song popularized by Jackson 5 titled “I Want You Back.”
Right after the performance of the three young singers, Coach Bamboo decided to side with Jhoas Sumatra for his pulse on the song. Coach Sarah Geronimo, the youngest among the judges chose Luke and even noted that the trio could be the next One Direction.
At the end of the trio’s performance, Coach Lea made the tough decision of choosing who among the three artists to proceed to the next round of the competition and she decided to picked the Batangas heartthrob Luke Alford.
According to the latest announcement from The Voice of the Philippines Kids Edition Season 2, there will be no steal option this season, the coaches will have only one chance to save their young artist.
