Kapamilya young actress Julia Montes will star in a highly anticipated TV drama series titled “Doble Kara” featuring new leading men Edgar Allan Guzman and Anjo Damiles. The announcement was revealed to the media through Dreamscape announcement on their official Instagram account.
The 20-year-old Julia Montes whose last teleserye “Ikaw Lamang” stated during an interview that she feels “super happy and blessed” to be cast in the series, which will also feature Alora Sasam, John Lapus, Allen Dizon, Patricia Javier, Ariel Rivera, Mylene Dizon and Gloria Sevilla.
Julia Montes who last saw action during the top-rating TV series “Ikaw Lamang” in 2014 was quoted as saying “Sabi ko nga po parang God’s perfect time kasi hindi lahat ng bagay kailangan mabilis. Ang sarap ng pakiramdam kasi after a long time ito ang ibibigay na next project,” Montes stated.
The actress also considered that her role in the upcoming soap opera is her most challenging role on national TV. She was quoted as saying “Siguro nasanay sila sa akin na kapag sinabing Julia, ‘Naku ano kaya ang gagawin niya?’ Medyo ‘di normal sa age ko or medyo challenging nga. This time I can say na ito ang pinaka-challenging for me. So hindi lang puso’t isip ang kailangang i-dedicate dito kung ‘di buong ako kasi ganoon talaga siya kahirap at the same time,” she explained.
