Veteran comedian Bayani Agbayani will be back to his former network, ABS-CBN as he is set to return as host on an ABS-CBN noontime show, It’s Showtime after more than 10 years of absent from the network that launched his career. Bayani Agbayani is former host of “Magandang Tanghali Bayan.”
The 46-year-old Bayani Agbayani revealed his latest project with the Kapamilya Channel during an exclusive guesting with Magandang Umaga Bayan.
According to Bayani, he will be hosting the segment “Funny One,” of It’s Showtime’s latest show that will debut on Saturday, June 27, 2015. The show is a reality search for male comedian of ABS-CBN, the Kapamilya Channel noted that it’s about time for them to look for possible successors of Dolphy, Panchito and Palito.
Bayani Agbayani was quoted as saying “Ito po ang reality search ng male comedian ng ABS-CBN. Kasi naisip ng ABS-CBN na it’s about time na magkaroon ng susunod sa yapak nila Dolphy, Panchito at Palito,” he explained.
All the hosts of the country’s top-rating noontime variety show, It’s Showtime will be part of “Funny One,” according to ABS-CBN. Bayani Agbayani also admitted that he became emotional upon receiving the news that he would host the segment.
