Ray Parks Jr. Invited by Brooklyn Nets for a Pre-Draft Workout

Former UAAP MVP and one of the most promising amateur basketball star in the Philippines, Bobby “Ray” Parks Jr. was invited by one of the National Basketball Association’s team, the Brooklyn Nets for a pre-draft workout. The 24-year-old Ray Parks will be given an opportunity to showcase his game to team management who is now looking for new talents for the NBA team.

The Brooklyn Nets, the previous team of Gilas Pilipinas naturalized player Andray Blatche is now looking forward for some collegiate players who will be added to their roster in the upcoming NBA season. The NBA Draft will be held this coming June 25, before the event will take place the Fil-Am already participated in the pre-draft workout.

According to some basketball enthusiasts, Ray Parks was scheduled to participate in the pre-draft workout of the Brooklyn Nets slated on June 17, 2015 (US Time).

Aside from the Brooklyn Nets who is interested with Ray Parks, the former NU Bulldogs will also showcase his skills and get an opportunity from other NBA team, the Indiana Pacers. In previous interviews with ABS-CBN, the agent of Ray Parks, agent Charlie Dy noted that Ray Parks is currently doing his personal training in Indianapolis.

Ray Parks is currently focusing on his dream to play for an NBA team, as he recently withdrew from the Philippine national basketball team, the Gilas Cadets who are now participating in the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore.
