Mayweather Looking at Final PPV Buys of 5.2 Million & Revnues of $700 Million

Floyd Mayweather Jr., is looking at even greater figures compared to the previously reported estimates of the Pay-Per-View Buys and revenues of the blockbuster fight featuring the undefeated boxer and the Filipino boxing icon, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. The undefeated American boxer is already assured of a record cash windfall which already broke the previous records set by Mayweather himself.

Although the pay-per-view results is still coming in and merchandise sales yet to be fully accounted for, the undefeated American boxer is looking forward for a record-breaking 5.2 million PPV buys and total fight revenues of $700 million.

In an exclusive interview with DJ Whoo Kid in a call-in on Shade 45 Radio, the 38-year-old Floyd Mayweather Jr., noted that, right now, the PPV buys was somewhere over 4 and a half million, and he estimates the PPV buys could reach up to 5.2 million while revenues could reach as high as $700 million.

Various sports news organizations in the United States estimates that the Pacquiao-Mayweather could earn more than 4.4 million PPV buys, which already obliterated the previous records of 2.48 million buys for Mayweather-De La Hoya bout in 2007, and gross revenue of $500 million.

According to recent reports, during the Pacquiao-Mayweather bout the live gates sales reached $72,198,500 which already broke the previous high of $20 million for Mayweather’s encounter with Canelo Alvarez in 2013.

Some boxing experts noted that if Floyd Mayweather’s projection hold true, his earnings in the “Fight of the Century” against Manny Pacquiao will climb to over $240 million and that of Pacquiao to about $160 million.
