The Philippine shadow dance group El Gamma Penumbra won the much coveted title as the ultimate winner of Asia’s Got Talent 2015. The Filipino group defeated the representatives from Mongolia, who congratulate the winner during the finals of the region’s most popular talent search.

Aside from El Gamma Penumbra the other finalists from the Philippines who were part of the grand finals were dance group Junior New System, Gerphil Flores and the 10-year-old singer Gwyneth Dorado.
Before the announcement of El Gamma Penumbra as the winner of the first-ever Asia’s Got Talent, the top six finalists during the finale of the show were Gerphil Flores, Triqstar, Khusugtan, Triqstar and Junior New System.
As the winner of the first-ever season of Asia’s Got Talent, El Gamma Penumbra will receive a cash prize of US$100,000 and a chance to perform at the Marina Bay Sands.
The winner is determined by public vote, where audience members and viewers at home in Asia can vote for their favorites via SMS, Facebook, or on the show’s official app. The voting closed on Monday, May 11, at 11:59pm
As far as we can remember both Gerphil Flores and the winner of Asia’s Got Talent, El Gamma Penumbra did not won during their stint with the local version of the same talent show, the Pilipinas Got Talent.
