The highly anticipated Fight of the Century featuring two of the world’s most popular boxers, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is also considered as the most lucrative in the sports of boxing. Aside from Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. the mega-bout will also showcase some of the world’s fast-rising boxing superstars.
According to the statement released by Showtime and Top Rank only a total of two undercard bouts will be part of the televised Pay-Per-View (PPV). The first four boxing fights will not be shown on live TV, so that the fans and followers of the two boxers could concentrate on their performance.
The main event will feature the WBC and WBA Super Welterweight Champion Floyd Mayweather vs. WBO Welterweight Champion Manny Pacquiao. The televised PPV under card will feature WBC Super Bantamweight World Champion Leo Santa Cruz against Jose Cayetano.
Aside from the Santa Cruz vs. Cayetano under card, the PPV will also feature WBO Featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Gamalier Rodriguez.
