The Filipino group Junior New System has been named as one of the 24 semifinalist in the region’s most popular talent competition, the “Asia’s Got Talent” joining four other acts from the Philippines. In the latest episode of AXN program which was aired on Thursday, the teen dance troupe was announced as one of the 24 acts.

According to Asia’s Got Talent, they will announce each week the remaining semi-finalists who did not received a golden ticket and will be chosen among those acts who passed the auditions. After the announcement of Junior New System as one of the semifinalist, only six acts remained unnamed.
The dance group Junior New System is composed of students aged between 16 and 23, the group was the first-ever act to be shown on “Asia’s Got Talent” during its highly anticipated premiere last March 12, 2015.
During the audition performance of the dance group Junior New System, all the four judges namely Grammy-winning composer David Foster, former Spice Girls member Melanie C, Indonesian rock icon Anggun, and Taiwanese-American pop idol Vaness Wu, made a standing ovation.
Aside from the Junior New System, the other Filipino acts who made it to the semifinals of Asia’s Got Talent are singer Gerphil Geraldine Flores, The Velasco Brothers, Gwyneth Dorado and El Gamma Penumbra.
