Both American basketball superstars supports Manny Pacquiao over their compatriot Floyd Mayweather Jr.
During the days of Karl Malone in the NBA he was dubbed as “The Mailman” because he always delivered for his team and formed two of the famous tandem in the league, with NBA fellow superstar John Stockton.
The 51-year-old Karl Malone became the two-time NBA MVP and 14-time All Star during younger days in the NBA. Karl Malone visited Manny Pacquiao earlier at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles and delivered a message to Manny Pacquiao and noted during his visit that he is rooting for the Filipino boxing icon.
Karl Malone is married to a half-Filipino wife Kay Kines, a former Ms. Idaho beauty pageant contestant whose mother is Cely Ellorin Kinez of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
Aside from Karl Malone, the Filipino boxing icon can also count to MVP contender Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors as one of his supporters. Stephen Curry gave a signed jersey and hooked up with eight-division world champion’s sons-Jimwell and Michael-in an official NBA game.
Manny Pacquiao thanked Stephen Curry for his gesture of inviting his sons to the NBA game.
