One of the NBA’s most popular player Karl “The Mailman” Malone visited Manny Pacquiao at the Wild Card Gym to deliver a special package to the Filipino boxing icon, himself and his family. Manny Pacquiao is currently deep in training for his highly anticipated May 2 (May 3 Manila time) bout against the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr., but he never missed to have some moments with the basketball icon.
The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) Karl Malone who played for the Utah Jazz most of his time as a basketball star visited Manny Pacquiao gave a souvenir to the Filipino boxing champion.
The 51-year-old retired NBA superstar visited Manny Pacquiao at the Wild Card Gym with his wife Kay Kinsey. Karl Malone gave a present to Manny Pacquiao a signed USA Basketball Dream Team jersey of Karl Malone and a ball signed by the power forward.
In return for the gift given by Karl Malone, Manny Pacquiao also gave Karl Malone a signed boxing glove and posted a photo of the NBA superstar into Pacman’s official Instagram account.
Karl Malone who stands at 6-foot-10-inches tall is considered as one of the most dominant power forward in the NBA and was awarded with a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Award. The Utah Jazz superstar also appeared in the NBA All Star Games in 14 times, an 11-time member of the All-NBA first team.
The phenomenal power forward in the NBA also scored the second most career points in NBA history with 36,928 points scored during his career and he holds the records for most free throws attempted and made.
