Nathan Hermida, a Filipino-American teenager is currently making the waves in the United States as he gave his best shot during his performance on the eighth season of NBC’s “The Voice” in the United States of America. During the Live Playoffs of the Fil-Am aspiring singer, he performed the song “Chains” by Nick Jonas.

The 17-year-old Nathan Hermida is under Adam Levine’s team in America’s most popular reality singing competition. Right after the performance of the Fil-Am singer, Pharell Williams commented that his performance sounded good.
Pharrell Williams also added that “You must be having the time of your life right now, you know? We know you for singing with a guitar but to see you without it is whole different Nathan and I think that’s a good thing. It’s a great performance.”
The mentor of Nathan Hermida, Adam Levine, on his part shared that when he first met Hermida, the teenager was so uncomfortable on stage. He was quoted as saying “Honest to God, there were some issues with some of the vocal stuff but I have to tell you man, you give 100 percent for the effort that you had, to come out here and really dig in and get up there and perform. You’ve never really done that before,” Levine said.
Adam Levine added further that he was so happy with Nathan Hermida’s performance on the show and as far as he is concerned as a coach, the Fil-Am singer done an amazing job in the show.
