March 2015 LET Exam Results (Teachers Board) List of Passers

The Professional Regulation Commission will release the official results of the March 2015 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) in a few working days after the last day of examination. Aside from the list of passers in the LET Exam, the PRC will also release the Top 10 Passers (Topnotchers), Top Performing and Performance of Schools of the March 2015 Teachers Board Exam.

The Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) or the Teachers Board Exam was conducted by the PRC and the Board for Professional Teachers in the cities of Manila (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Catarman, Jolo Sulu, Bongao Tawi-tawi, Catanduanes, San Jose, Antique and Zamboanga.

This year’s LET Exam was conducted by the Board for Professional Teachers headed by Dr. Rosita L. Navarro as Chairman; with board members namely Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy. The LET Exam was conducted on March 29, 2015 in designated testing centers nationwide.

The main office of the PRC did not release the official numbers of the total examinees nationwide who hurdle the Teachers Board Exam, but according to some PRC insiders there are around 70-90 thousand examinees took the LET Exam both in Elementary and Secondary Level. PRC Baguio on the other hand announced online that a total of 8,137 took the tests in 15 designated testing centers under PRC Baguio.

The PRC noted that the March 29, 2015 LET Exam consists of two (2) parts for Elementary: General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) and three (3) parts for Secondary: General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).

The LET Exam covered the major areas of General Education (English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences subjects), PE (teaching profession, social dimensions of education, principles of teaching, education technology, curriculum development, facilitating learning, child and adolescent development, (–foul word(s) removed–)sment of student learning, developmental reading, field study and practice teaching).

For the Secondary Teachers, the ten (10) specializations defends on their chosen course which include English, Filipino, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Social Studies or Social Sciences, Values Education, MAPEH, Agriculture and Fishery Arts and TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education.

According to the PRC, the probable release date of the March 2015 LET Exam for both the Elementary and Secondary Level is between May 11 up to May 22, 2015 or in a total of 27-36 workind days after the last day of examination. The date mentioned above excludes weekends and holidays on April 2, 3, 9 and May 1, 2015.

The PRC also noted that based upon the PRC Resolution No. 2014-874, the target release of results is after 31 working days or in May 15, 2015.
