The country’s largest television network, ABS-CBN will showcase Ara Mina and Sofia Andres in an inspiring mother-daughter story about unconditional love, forgiveness, and motherhood. The Maalaala Mo Kaya episode this coming Saturday features Bheng played by Ara Mina and her daughter Joy who was portrayed by Sofia Andres.
The 35-year-old Ara Mina will play the role of a single mother to her daughter Joy (Sofia Andres) when her boyfriend refuses to take responsibilityfor their child. When Bheng’s daughter grew older, she forced to work abroad to make ends meet for her family and left Joy in the care of her grandparents.
In the absence of Bheng (Ara Mina), Joy (Sofia Andres) started exploring her sexuality and ended up getting pregnant by her boyfriend, who eventually followed the footsteps of her mother as her boyfriend left her and she was responsible for the care of her baby alone.
The MMK episode this coming Saturday will reveal how hurtful is it for a single mother to learn that her beloved child will go through the same ordeal as she had in the past. What will a daughter do to make up for her mistakes?
Aside from Ara Mina and Sofia Andres, also part of the MMK episode this Saturday are Liz Alindongan, Bea Saw, Alyanna Angeles, Pen Medina, and Julian Estrada.
