The son of the late comedian Dolphy, Vandolph Quizon was involved in a car accident on Thursday morning involving his Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a motorcycle at around 8:30 AM on Thursday, March 19, 2015. According to initial report, the actor was unhurt during the incident.
Although Vandolph was unhurt during the car accident, the motorcyle rider was injured during he incident which happened along Sucat Road, Paranaque on Thursday.
The 30-year-old Vandolph Quizon was driving the black Toyota Fortuner was traversing Sucat Road from Paranaque towards Baclaran when the vehicle swerved to the right, hitting th Paranaque boundary sign as revealed by an eyewitness who witness the incident.
The impact of the collision resulted in the vehicle going to the opposite lane, hitting and injuring motorcycle rider who was identified as Michael Fereira. The incident caused a traffic jam within the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) complex.
Right after the incident, Vandolph was brought to the Paranaque traffic office for investigation and his vehicle was towed by traffic authorities while the motorcycle rider who was injured was brought to the nearest hospital.
Vandolph was previously involved in car accident that cost the life of his former girlfriend. Way back the year 2001, Vandolph crashed his F150 pick-up into an Isuzu Elf trcuk in Pangasinan with his girlfriend Desiree “Ishi” Raquiza died weeks later while Vandolph underwent several operations to repair his damaged bones.
