Former beauty queen Nina Ricci Alagao apologized to Toni Gonzaga and her fans after she made a harsh comments on Facebook with regards to Toni Gonzaga’s hosting stint during the recently concluded Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant held on Sunday at the historic Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Some netizens including prominent celebrities such as Nina Ricci Alagao, thought that the Kapamilya host-actress did an inappropriate hosting sting at the country’s most prestigious beauty pageant.
The previous statement of Nina Ricci Alagao was deleted immediately on her Facebook wall after she received some flak from netizens particularly from the fans and supporters of the PBB host, Toni Gonzaga.
The 2000 Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Nina Ricci Alagao was quoted as saying on her apology that “I apologize. If it will appease her fans then I apologize, but not without pointing out a few things,” Alagao said.
Nina Ricci Alagao also revealed that she is one of Toni Gonzaga’s fans and she admired Toni’s confidence and determination, she also saw all of Toni Gonzaga’s movie.
The beauty queen denied saying that Toni Gonzaga is not a good host and clarified further that “I did not criticize her, nor her performance last night in general. It was specifically the Q&A I tackled, and my intention was not how many of you might have interpreted it.”
