Bb. Pilipinas 2015 candidate Miss Janicel Lubina is one of the few Binibining Pilipinas contestant who is considered a veteran after having participated with various national beauty pageants, such as the Miss World 2013 and also won the 2013 Miss Bikini International. Miss Janicel Lubina is candidate No. 11 in the 52nd edition of the Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageant.
The 19-year-old Janicel Lubina hails from Palawan, in the town of Narra which is a two kilometer ride from the capital city of Puerto Princesa. She stands at 5 foot 8 inches tall and measures 34-24-34 but according to some beauty pageant experts, the beauty queen has even a waistline of 21 inches.
Janicel Lubina competed during the Miss Scuba International 2013 in Indonesia but she lost to Miss Thailand and Miss Indonesia. The beauty queen from Palawan is considered as one of the heavy favorite in the competition as she previously worked as a housemaid.

The beauty queen from Palawan worked previously as a housemaid and labored under the sun to scavenge rice-grans from the discards of the millers in Palawan. Janicel Lubina noted that she comes from the poorest of the poor in Palawan as their family prioritizes bringing food on their table instead of providing for electricity and buying appliances such as a TV set.
Janicel Lubina’s father Constantino Lubina worked as a gasoline boy in Palawan and her mother, Nida Lubina worke as a house-helper in their province.
