North All Stars Defeated South All Stars in the PBA All Star Game (Highlights Video)

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) All Star Game is considered as one of the most record-breaking all stars in the history of Asia’s longest-running professional basketball league as the North All Stars defeated the South All Stars during the Sunday’s game with the final score of 166-161.

The triumph of the PBA North All Stars Selection was due to team work of some of the country’s most promising basketball stars lead by sophomore star player Terrence Romeo of GlobalPort who barged the All Star MVP of the 2015 PBA All Star Game.

During the halftime of the game, veteran playmaker and Gilas Pilipinas hero, Jimmy Alapag was given an emotional retirement tribute at the Puerto Princesa Coliseum in Palawan.

Terrence Romeo led the North All Stars by pouring out 30 points including the 15 markers in the final period. He was awarded earlier with the Three-Point shootout against the best shooters in the league. Calvin Abueva also contributed with a game-high 37 points, despite the fact that he flew later to the venue due to pressing family matters.

North All Star Japeth Aguilar also scored 25 points for his team and delighted the crowd with an array of dunks. The All Star Game also featured some of the record-breaking feat of the PBA, the 2015 All Star Game has the highest scoring quarter combined (89 points in the first quarter).

The 2015 All Star Game had also the highest combined points in an All Star Game (327 points). Jimmy Alapag, who retired last month, established a record breaking 17 assists during the All Star Game.
