KZ Tandingan Believes Koko Baldo Will Win “The Voice of the Philippines” Season 2

Reality singing competition former winner and now a certified singer, KZ Tandingan believes that reggae singer Kokoi Baldo will be the next big winner of the country’s most popular singing competition “The Voice of the Philippines” Season 2. The Bacolod-based singer Kokoi Baldo is now considered as one of the most popular The Voice PH contestant.

The 22-year-old KZ Tandingan made a name for herself in the recording industry after she won the singing competition “The X Factor Philippines” three years ago. She explained in batting out for Kokoi Baldo, that the reggae singer stands out with his unique sound.

Siguro it’s just the matter of choosing the right song,” Tandingan said.

KZ Tandingan also added that she sees herself in Kokoi Baldo, and even gave an unsolicited advice to the fast-rising star in The Voice PH, Kokoi Baldo.

The singer was quoted as saying “Kuya Koi, kung mapapanood mo ito, maniwala ka sa sarili mo. Maniwala ka sa kakayahan mo kasi nasa iyo na ‘yan. It’s just a matter of believing in yourself kasi kayang-kaya mo,” she said.

“Pero good luck din sa lahat ng contestants kasi alam ko kung saang stage kayo ng ‘The Voice’ nakarating ay super deserve niyo ‘yan. Kasi right after ‘X Factor’ mas naging diverse ang genre at mas dumami ang iba’t ibang klase ng singers na lumabas. I’m just happy for all the other singers na mas tumatapang mas nagte-take ng risk ngayon,” Tandingan added.

Kokoi Baldo will move on to the next round of the competition, joining Jason Fernandez, Jason Dy and Monique Lualhati for Team Sarah after he topped last weekend’s vote for his team, garnering 46.81% of viewers’ votes, with his rendition of Mishka’s “Love and Devotion.”
