The groups according to Sen. Trillanes could raise a “social upheaval” among netizens as he cited information and identified these groups as “elements” from the Catholic Church, communist groups and some “political forces.”

Sen. Trillanes also noted that he already passed the sensitive information to the intelligence community of the national government. The senator was quoted as saying “May nag organisa, nag mi-meeting sila. ‘Yung sequence of events nila ginagawa nila. You can feel it moving, pati sa media may nag operate na,” he said.

The Senator who was known as the leader of the Oakwood Mutiny during the time of Pres. Arroyo noted that although the public’s sentiments over the death of the 44 PNP-SAF commandos were “valid” but the alleged groups is now taking advantage of the situation and hoping it would lead to a “social upheaval.”

According to Sen. Trillanes, he did not see any reason why Aquino should be ousted over Mamasapano incident and note that the President may have “character flaws” or “lapses” but these are not enough reasons to remove him from office.

The Senator also noted that if the President will be ousted from office, Vice President Jejomar Binay who is facing numerous charges of amassing unexplained wealth will took over as President.
