Erika David joined the elite list of aspiring Filipino-Americans who wanted to make it big in the United States music industry as she successfully enterd the Hollywood Round of the famed American Idol 2015. The aspiring young singer is set to joined fellow Filipino aspiring Idol contestant Dave Lamar.

During the pre-audition interview video of Erika David, she hopes the judges whould see her talent in singing as she stood in front of the judges and performed her own rendition of Alicia Keys’ “No One.”
Erika David not new to the limelight as she performed already in various Filipino community events in the United States for the past few years. She is also popular online through her official YouTube Channel wherein she put some of her song covers and original composition since the year 2007.
According to the official website of Erika David, she started singing at an early age of three, and was heavily influenced by her family who were music lovers.
Erika David had an accumulated YouTube Channel Views reaching to more than 45 Million counting. Some of her musical influence include Will Pharrell and Lady Gaga for their creativity; Drake for drive and determination; Beyonce’s consistency and vocal style; Keri Hilson’s vocal style; and Mariah Carey’s deliver.
