Miss Paulina Vega of Colombia was declared as the winner of the Miss Universe 2014 during the coronation night held on Sunday night (Monday Morning Manila Time). The coronation night of the Miss Universe 2014-2015, the 63rd edition of the event was held in Miami, Florida.
Miss Gabriela Isler of Venezuela crowned her successor, Miss Colombia’s Paulina Vega during the coronation night. Aside from Paulina Vega being crown as the winner of the Miss Universe. The top five finalists were also revealed and the list of contestants with special awards.

The Philippine representative to the Miss Universe beauty pageant, Miss MJ Lastimosa failed to make it to the Top 5 finalists, ending the country’s reign as one of the top 5 favorites for the past few years.
The 27-year-old MJ Lastimosa was first included in the list of Top 15 semi-finalists and the Top 10 finalists but her name wasn’t called in the highly anticipated Top 5 finalists.
